The Midwest Section PGA partnered with several Female Golf Professionals to host a Girls Night Out at X-Golf Leawood. The goal was to introduce female high schoolers to all the various career paths in the golf industry. More than 35 girls were in attendance and all received a gift bag full of tees, ball markers, X-Golf Leawood sticker, Midwest Section logo towel and notebook. Participants were spread out across 4 hitting bays where with each with a different activity; long drive, closest to the pin 150 yards, closest to the pin 50 yards and play a hole. After completion of a bay, all participants would gather back together and give each Professional in attendance a opportunity to speak and share how they got in the golf industry and what it is like. Between the fun games, food and networking everyone enjoyed themself during the evening.
