Midwest Section member courses to benefit from new partnership with Kansas City golf distributor
(Kansas City, MO) – The Midwest Section PGA and Kansas City-based All Star Pro Golf today launched a strategic partnership that will enhance contributions to the section and streamline the procurement process for member courses.
Under the terms of the three-year mutual agreement, the Midwest Section PGA will earn a rebate from All Star Pro Golf on all golf supplies purchased by its active members. The section’s aggregate sales will factor into the amount of the rebate at the end of each year.
“This unique program was designed utilizing successful best practices from other types of businesses by placing some of the financial well-being of our organization back in the hands of our members,” said Adam Greeno, Executive Director of the Midwest Section PGA. Plus, this gives our members the opportunity to buy local.
In 2021, All Star moved out of Iowa to Kansas City so the company would have room to grow, expand its product offerings, and be able to have customers quickly receive their shipments.
“For too many years, we have been viewed as a tee and pencil company,” said Kevin Mohler, President of All Star Pro Golf. “Through this partnership, our neighbor courses will be able to experience first-hand how our business approach to the game we all love can help them enhance the bottom line in the Pro Shop.”
The Midwest Section PGA encompasses the entire Kansas City area and more, from St. Joseph to the north, east to Richmond, Springfield, Branson, and Joplin to the south, continuing west through the Flint Hills of Kansas to Colorado, and north to the Nebraska border.
